Description

Immerse yourself in the salon life of the 1700th century when we offer songs about love in stately surroundings. We take you back to the time when the young nobles Christian and Frederikke fell in love and married, and where throughout their long and happy marriage they were surrounded by artists, musicians and poets. In our beautiful royal hall, you first enjoy a plate of tapas at one of the small café tables, after which the concert begins. Søren Gleerup Hansen, harpsichordist, and soprano Anna Maria Wierød take us this evening around the emotional 1700th century and play songs at the museum's wonderful historical harpsichord. Enjoy the large royal portraits and the candles in the crystal chandelier, while the summer evening sends its scents in from the beautiful park.

The price includes food and concert. Drinks are paid separately.

Anna Maria Wierød is a soloist class graduate and a candidate in classical singing and renaissance vocal ensemble from the Jutland Music Conservatory, Hochschule für Künste Bremen and Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She is part of the international early music scene and has toured Denmark and most of Europe as a soloist with ensembles such as Pantagruel, Balthasar-Neumann-Chor, Ensemble Zimmermann, Ensemble SYD and Musica Ficta.

Søren Gleerup Hansen is trained as an organist and harpsichordist at Det kgl. Danish Conservatory of Music. Has been organist in the Danish folk church since 1984, from 2010 at St. Mariæ Church and Kronborg Castle Church in Helsingør. He often performs as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist, including with several of the regional orchestras.
