Christmas is the coziest time of the year, where we find together candles, Christmas crunches and Christmas cheer. But it was not always so.
For many centuries, Christmas was one of the most dangerous times of the year, when the veil between the world of the living and the dead was at its thinnest, and when terrifying, man-eating monsters were on the hunt for naughty children. All over Europe, horrifying stories of child-eating witches, sinister and violent men, devils, horse zombies and many other horrors are known.
No, Christmas is definitely not for children and the faint of heart.
On this special tour of the Museum Obscurum, you will be told about the most terrifying and horrifying traditions of Christmas.
