On the occasion of the Birgitta Festival in Maribo, Museum Lolland-Falster invites you to an exciting tour of and around the ruins of the once impressive Maribo Monastery.
The monastery was consecrated in 1416 as a Birgittine monastery. The monastery was a so-called double monastery and thus housed both nuns and monks in two separate sections connected by a church.
