Join us on a 1-hour long historical walk through a city that probably seems peaceful on the surface today, but the underground hides secrets. The city's past contains great dramas and strange stories. Come along below the surface in one of Denmark's most beautiful market towns.
Here, the audience can hear about, among other things, the impressive castle, the remains of which can be seen today by Fars hat, by the cinema, which is also the tour's meeting point. In the castle sat Queen Sofie, not only one of Northern Europe's most powerful women. She was also among the richest. It was she who lent her son Christian the 4th money for the buildings for which he became so famous.
For most of her working life as museum inspector at Museum Lolland-Falster, Signe Fog Mogensen has dealt with the Middle Ages and its cities. With her as a guide, the audience gets both a living narrator and an expert in the city's history.
