Beskrivelse

A Tunnel to the Past – How the Femern Belt tunnel changes our understanding of the Stone Age

Stone Age research has made a great leap forward over the past decade – with our excavations on western Lolland playing a crucial role in these advancements. Where large concrete elements are cast today, 6,000 years ago, Lola and her people lived, fished, and hunted. While time may separate us, the Femern Belt tunnel bridges not only Denmark and Germany but also connects us with our ancestors.

Join us for an exciting presentation by Dr. Daniel Groß as he takes us on a journey through the Stone Age on Lolland and beyond. Discover fascinating new findings from Museum Lolland-Falster and their research partners, revealing how our distant past was both strikingly similar and intriguingly different from today. Dr. Groß will showcase remarkable discoveries and insights in an accessible and engaging manner, connecting the dots between past and present. Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into the latest research and explore the deep connections that bind us to our past.
